January Intentions

I was reading something the other day about not calling things goals, but rather intentions. Because intention has a different connotation for most people, supposedly we are more likely to achieve and be successful if we call what we want to do an intention rather than a goal (or resolution). 
So, I thought this year I would try something new and make goals intentions for myself for each month, included will be my monthly challenges to eat healthier, but it will also include some more personal goals. I'm thinking posting my intentions will help keep me on track and accountable! 

January Intentions

1. Eat veggies with every meal.

2. Register for a 10K.

3. Run at least 80 miles.

4. Do at least one HIIT workout session a week. 

5. Make my lesson plans a week in advance (for work).

6. Post at least 3 times a week here.

7. Read 1 book for fun and 1 book for more fun learning.

8. Re-start Eat Clean on a Budget series!

  1. Just started reading your blog (by the way). My January goal is to keep my house tidy. Just completed my BA; so for the time being I am a stay at home mom. i have a 2 year old and one of the way without being a full time student so I would like to create habits of maintaining a clean house.

    1. Keeping my home tidy should be one of my goals too, I'll have to add to my list! Congratulations on your BA!! What a nice accomplishment! :)
